Immigrant Families Together (IFT) is an all-volunteer network of Americans committed to rapid response reunification of families separated at the border and by immigration detention actions. The organization specializes in paying bonds, funding transportation and accommodations to reunite families, and getting those families connected to a support network for long-term healing and thriving.
Families Together Festival was birthed when some West Michigan moms, dads, sisters, brothers, and friends realized our community had something unique to offer immigrant families around the country who are battling fear, detainment, and separation. Partnering with a local nonprofit, we reached out to surrounding businesses, artists, and churches to help host an event where families like yours could gather to reunite families in need.
Thanks to corporate sponsors, Families Together Festival is getting fully funded so every dollar you give goes straight to immigrant families. Even festival vendors are all donating a portion of their proceeds to help make a difference.
The support we have found in the greater Holland community has been nothing short of inspiring. There’s still plenty to do, and we’d love for you to help get involved . But mostly, we’re hoping you and your family and friends join us on October 20 to celebrate the power of families.
Thank you for believing in families,
All funds raised will be split evenly between the two organizations below. In this, we hope to faithfully support families in our local community and families around the country currently experiencing separation.
